This Privacy Policy explains how SocialMind ("we", "the Service") collects, uses and protects
information when you use our social-media management platform.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email and the password you set (passwords are stored only as a secure hash).
- Connected social accounts: when you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram account, we store the access
tokens needed to publish on your behalf. Tokens are stored encrypted.
- Content you create: brand information, posts, captions, images and assets you upload or generate.
- Usage data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the Service: generate, schedule, design and (with your approval) publish content to your
connected Facebook/Instagram accounts.
- To respond to comments and messages on your behalf when you enable that feature.
- To maintain, secure and improve the Service.
3. Third parties
We share data only as needed to provide the Service:
- Meta Platforms (Facebook / Instagram): to publish content and read comments/insights you authorise.
- AI providers (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google): to generate copy and images from the prompts and brand
information you provide.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time; see our
Data Deletion page. Disconnecting a social account removes its stored access token.
5. Security
Access tokens are encrypted, passwords are hashed, and the Service is served over HTTPS.
6. Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
